Richard Gulig

Rich has over 35 years of management experience in the manufacturing sector, both domestic and international. His manufacturing expertise is diverse including plumbing products, plastics, bicycles and, the last twenty years, office furniture. His overseas involvement includes operations in China, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from UW-Milwaukee and an MS in Quality and Organizational Management from Marian University, in Fond du Lac, WI. Rich is an ordained Deacon in the Catholic Church, serving in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee at St. Peter Claver Parish in Sheboygan, WI. He is involved in many ministries including outreach to the sick and elderly, hospice care and prison chaplaincy. He serves as the Spiritual Advisor to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in the ten county Archdiocese of Milwaukee, in Southeast Wisconsin. Rich is a veteran, who served honorably in the United States Navy, with many years of both active and reserve duty in the post-Vietnam era. He has made two trips to Laos in support of the library that was built in Nong Het, Xiang Khouang Province, in 2011 and 2015. His wife Karel accompanied him on the visit in January of 2015, where both were involved in teaching English to approximately 50 children at the library. They have five children and 13 grandchildren and reside in Kohler, Wisconsin.
